Our caseworkers work closely with foster families, birth families, and community partners to ensure each child’s safety, well-being, and growth. It's challenging work—but it’s also incredibly meaningful.
Main Responsibilities:
Placement of children (ages 0–21)
Home visits, safety assessments, case planning
Documentation, progress reports, and ISP development
Coordinating with schools, healthcare providers, and courts
Support for foster parents including crisis intervention
Participating in court proceedings and agency meetings
Occasional on-call duties
Bachelor's in education, human services, or related field
OR
Associate’s degree + 2 years’ experience with children
Strong written & verbal communication
Comfortable with diverse backgrounds and high-emotion situations
Confident using a computer for reports and case notes
Valid PA driver’s license + insured vehicle (proof required)
Reliable cell phone
Available for flexible scheduling and occasional weekends
Clearances: PA State Police, Act 33, etc.
Willingness to travel throughout our service areas
