Can I work full-time and still become a foster parent?

You can still become a foster parent if you work full-time, as long as any child-care needs are provided while you are working. For example, whenever a child is enrolled in school, or daycare.

Do I need parenting experience to become a foster parent? 

One of the biggest myths in foster care is that you need to be a Super Parent, or that you need to be perfect, and that is not the case!

A lot of Lifespan Families did not have previous parenting experience, and they have done just as well as families with years of experience! And no matter what, you are not alone in the process, and we will be besides you every step of the way.

Can I adopt a child through foster care?

Unlike traditional adoption, the expenses associated with finalizing the adoption are covered by the child's placing agency.
